Corona: "We're convinced the best version is yet to come from him, he is better prepared every day" 

Valencia CF's sporting director, Miguel Ángel Corona, has analysed the keys to the renewal of Jesús Vázquez. The young player, who came up through the ranks at the VCF Academy, has extended his contract with the Club until 2026.

His best version is yet to come

"We are very happy with this contract extension for a player from our academy. A kid who has been with us since he was five years old. It is a reason for happiness within the club.
Furthermore, he is a player who has overcome difficulties lately, so we are convinced that the best is yet to come from him, and he is better prepared every day".

Confidence in his potential 

We have a lot of confidence in his potential. It is true that, for one reason or another, he has had misfortunes that have not allowed him to develop as we all believe he can, and both the coaching staff and the club have faith that we are going to reach the best version of Jesús.

For us, that commitment is vital, that motivation of wanting to be here and obviously - as we said at the beginning - he is a kid who has grown up with us. He has been here all his life and therefore we know about his commitment, his loyalty, his honesty and identification with the project and with the team. Therefore, we are very happy.
